Listen in with hosts Dennis Campbell and Pat Caves for their first weekly radio show about and for brats on Bratcon Radio.
Bratcon Radio will air on Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time (7:00 p.m. Eastern Time) and will present a one hour talk radio show format beginning Thursday, November 11, 2010.
The show is hosted by Dennis Campbell and Pat Caves, and will not only look back “at the way it was” for Military Brats, but will also explore how these experiences shaped Military Brats into who they are today.
Donna Musil will be the first guest for the show, sharing with listeners what it was like during the making of BRATS: Our Journey Home, the documentary film which has been screened around the country and overseas. The documentary is the first to deal with “growing up military.”
A copy of Donn’s film on DVD will be given away to callers to the show, so be sure to tune in and call in with questions for Donna.
Host Dennis Campbell and Co-Creator of the show, Pat Caves, are the founding partners of Brats in Broadcasting, LLC, and created Bratcon Radio to bring their unique perspectives of the “Brat” experience.
Dennis spent most of his childhood as a “civilian,” moving to Germany with his family in high school when his father took a position with the U.S. Government there. Later, he served on active duty in the U.S. Army in Germany.
Pat was born into the military life with her father being a career Army officer. She was born in Germany and spent her childhood moving around the U.S., enduring extended periods of separation and ultimately returning to her “roots” in Germany in time for high school in Heidelberg, where her path crossed with Dennis.
